Just wondering if anyone else has bought the video. This is not to start a flame war, but I felt the video was way too basic. I know how to setup up helicopters as I have 4 of them, but I was under the impression that it was more of a tunning video on how to tune your gas engine, but I guess I was wrong. He spend a total of 5 seconds explaining the needle settings, which I got out of the Zenoah manual. The video may be good for people who have never set up a helicopter before and in that regard it is an excellent video, however for the seasoned flyer I think it was lacking any new info. Again this is not to start a flaming war or anything just wondering what others think.

it was worth it to me because I fly alone and was setting the gas bird up like a nitro. I kept overheating clutches. The settup he explains resolved this very frustrating problem for me and that alone was worth the price. The other stuff was kind of basic if you have alot of experience, but I'm not sure the experienced pilot is what it was aimmed at. I had 20 years experience and I still learned a thing or two.

I've heard that. I haven't seen the video though. Gary is a very intelectual person from speaking directly to him for his credit though. Tunning isn't to hard though. Anything I can help with?

Mine went in the bin.
I also was under the impression that it was about how to tune a gasser motor more than anything.
I got the 1 3/8 turns out on the needles for free on all the forums.
I was very disappointed. For a Bergen owner the vid would prob be quite good, but as a general gas video, errrr.
Well done for what it was, but not what I thought it was.

If you bling it, they will come :D

What you guys want to find is the video done by Warren Allred circa 1996.

It was sold through Rotary Mag I think?

It kicks major butt on tuning the gassers and was professionally done, and has some great footage of him flying his X-Cell gasser and pulling off some FAI wins with it. He's a sleeper of a gasser guru, I've seen him salvage many a weary new gasser owner.

I don't have a copy but borrowed a friend's. I've seen Gary's: No comparison at all.
