After having glitches galore on my Trex 450se, I got fed up with it stripped the head, tail, gyro and gyro mount and rebuilt my MX400 to bling it out!!!!!

Here's the semi-finished product.

Waiting for a new Z-Power Z10A 3000kv motor to be able to rip up the skies!!!

Here's a battery mod I did to fit my FlightPower EVO25 2170Mah batteries!!!

Thanks guyz. I can't wait to get this sucker out in the field on Sunday. I hope my 25amp esc is sufficient to power up the Z-Power Z10A motor im putting in. Hopefully I'll get the motor Wednesday to do some quick test runs to see if the esc doesn't overheat.

Yep, that's a beauty. Its WAY to pretty to actually fly. I'd make that a hanger queen and get some kind of cheapo to fly with.

I love the gyro mount...I think I'll do that with mine.

Its a beauty aint it. I can't even believe it looks so nice being an MX400. I don't even care about my Trex 450se anymore. I don't even know what I'm gonna do with the Trex. Especially now that I got this new motor and esc installed!!!!! Got one last upgrade to put on, Silver CNC Landing gear!!!! Will do that probably tommorow.

Yea, I think that is a cooling fan mounted on top. Very cool huh. I'll need that cool fan action this weekend when I fly cause its been around 100 degree's here in Southern California latily. Freaken Global Warming is killing us here in Cali. Its usually around 80 degree's. In the 35 years I've been living here, these past two years have been the hotest I've ever experienced. Maybe Al Gore it right????

Here's the final addition to my MX400

Silver CNC Landing Skidz. Had to make some custom joints to screw the skidz on. Was kind of a hasle, but well worth the upgrade.

Oh yeah...those landing gear struts are VERY nice, and they look
strong too.

Weather up here (Idaho) has been fierce too. Practicaly the whole
state is on fire. Rarely gets below 95 degrees lately.

I think Al Gore may know what he's talking about after all.

Its funny, but the shiny stuff likes to take some nice abuse. The plastic parts break easy, while the CNC can take a beating, as long as you fly over grass!!!!

Nice

That's a mean looking heli you got there.I like landing gear too, of coarse all the T-Rex stuff,and the new motor but I think the gyro mount is the coolest.
