e-HeliDirect HDX 300-600 > Lubricating tail drive belt, necessary???

Hello guys,
How necessary is it to lubricate the tail drive belt? I have seen that adding a drop or two of silicon oil is good for the belt's life...
I was thinking on using silicon shock oil for r/c cars. Is this ok?

Any input or advice is quite welcomed.
Thanks!!!

fwiw..

Get silicone spray....soak a Q tip in it, then apply to inside/ outside of the belt...Noticeably better performance, and smoother...Don't run the belt too tight...
