Part 1 here

Every cloud has a silver lining
---
Having written off the eFalcon, I dusted off an old 60 size Hirobo Condor that was sitting in the garage and tried to remember how nitro engines work. After a few nights of collecting grease under the fingernails, the ship was ready for her debut. Not willing to sacrifice another rotary wing to the Evil Tree Legion, I found out about a local outlaw field here on RR and took the vintage heli out for a spin. It flew, but not very well compared to the well tuned raptors and newer model Hirobo Evo that were at the field.

To make a longish story short, I ended up buying a xero-g'd rappy from the most experienced builder/pilot at the field. A few weekends, a few gallons and a few hot starts later, my experimental eFalcon was fast becoming a memory.

Next, part 3 and conclusion of the mini epic.
