tail roll pin, need i say more? piroed to its death inverted. It came out so hard that it shot out of the case creating its own hole.


How can prevent this next time? I hear some are using heat shrink? any success?

I used a thin piece of heat shrink on it...no problims anymore. Get the pin tight and heat the shrink so she will stay in.

yeah... np. I minimized damage as much as i could, hit throttle hold and watched it plummel itself into the ground. Thank god that wasnt thes stratus.

The actual crash is only gonna cost me $56, cause I have a set of blades at home. But the ouch part is the 601amp got toasted, and I am having a heck of a time locating one.

Headspeed, 1900, was just flying backwards in a slow pass. Then went into a flip and it kicked, "I was like????? instantly then started pirouting, unfortunaly inverted. If it was slower at least, i could have piroflipped right side up and try to aim for the skids."


Eh, I just hope it doesnt happen again.

Did you throw the hold switch and try to auto it? Im not familar with the Raptor 90's do they have a driven tail? I had an incident with my Fury Extreme where the crown gear decided to go on me in the middle of a chaos and it would not stop piroetting, lucky for me I was about 50 feet in the air threw it in hold rolled it over skids down and still had plenty of head speed to auto it safely with no damage except for the 28 dollar crown gear that I had just installed the day before. Turns out I did not have the backlash set right and in the 6 min I was flying it tore up the entire crown gear and I mean it was smooth all the way around...LOL

Driven tail, yeah it was about 20 feet off the deck in an angle coming towards me, it just went inverted from a flip. Barely any reaction time. I thought about punching it up, but thought it might have lead to leading towards the pit area. so i hit hold and let it hit the ground.
