I have a Piccolo Pro coming. This will be my first electric/micro. I've been flying raptors for a year or so. What building and flying tips can you offer me??? Are there any tricks to program into a 9z?

As for building it, it's actually a breeze. I was able to put the kit together in about 3 hours (minus electronics). I only used 19 drops of CA to put the thing together. Remember to use CA SPARINGLY since you will end up debonding some pieces such as the landing gear when it breaks from crashing. It also keep it from being "CA heavy". Also DO NOT CA the tail boom onto the main frame. When inserting the boom into the main frame there should be enough tension to hold the boom in place without CA. The reason for this is that if you do crash, instead of the boom breaking, it'll give way by twisting. It'll also make it easier to do maintenance on the tail in case the boom does break.

Make sure you CA the lead weights in the rotor blades or else they will fly off and end up hurting something/someone.

The blue blade covering that comes in the kit sucks, they eventually start peeling off. You may want to spray some 3M spray adhesive on it. You can actually use a lighter covering like Coverlite or some other light Monokote type of material that you can just iron on to save weight.

Also make sure you don't forget to snap in the head clip.

I fly a 10X so I have no clue on how to program a 9z.

That's all i can think of right now (it's 12:30am here) so hopefully someone else can fill you in on whatever i missed.

Other than that, you should be happy with your lil micro. I know I love mine.

I have one . I have about 40 flights on it. It went together very well. When you do set up your radio make sure you keep the head speed up . This little heli likes to have good head speed (1850 to 1900). Also if you can install the heading hold module on the piccoboard. This module is a good investment it makes a world of difference in ease of control and tail lock capability. If you do install the heading hold module remember to turn off all revo mixing in your TX . As for flying this little heli is great you will love it. It is very stable even in a slight breeze it even hovers hands off for a few seconds when trimmed properly and it is fast when you want it to be. I think this is the first out of the box microheli with Collective pitch capability that flys like a big machine. One tip I have done is to use the fiberglass blades off of a MS hornet CP. They have slightly more lift but they work great. They are also more durable than the woodies that come with the kit. I also glued a piece of rubber between the collective screw plate and the pitch slider when those two little tabs of plastic broke off . You will see what I mean after your first rotor strike. My hat goes off to the guy or guys that designed this little gem. I am having a lot of fun with mine. Good luck I hope your adventure goes well.
