Good post above. I did the dual boom supports. A must is to get rid of those rubber things on the landing skid. I bought Mavrikk gear, a little taller than the standard. I also purchased an aluminum tail slider for the tail rotor. I was having trouble with the plastic ball breaking on the stock piece, the heli would then go into a spin. One thing I'd like to get eventually is a boom mounted TR servo, although I'm not having any trouble with the stock setup.

My take on all the raptor "upgrade" parts (or any for the Venture) is to save the money to put towards a 60 size, scale kit, etc. The stock heli flies very well.

Forgot to mention that there is a shop out of Japan that has aluminum replacement parts for just about anything plastic on the JR helis.

I was going to mention that site but it slipped my mind. Did you get the tail slider from K&S or did you get it local. If you got it local I would like to know were you got it. I too am going to go to the boom mount servo but for tear down purposes. I plan on traveling and will be taking the boom off and want to avoid the long linkage rod. Let me know were you got that slider. Don

It's actually a JR part, I bought it from HeliProz. It's $43 I think. Just ask them on the phone, they'll know what part you are talking about.
