| Voyager EMine is just like yours, It flies fine with the camera, mine WILL be great for aerial work. On the hacker I was having trouble with a very rough throttle make sure heli is in normal mode on the esc if you plan on flying normal and not in gov mode on idle up. I'm just having issues with my battery right now, I use 11.1v thunder power 8000mah, it lifts great and with all the extra power from brushless and li-po power it is a very responsive and stable machine, I'm just not getting the right flight time battery checks out though. be sure and up the pinion I'm at a 16t right now. I tried 13,14, and 18 tooth,16 seemed to be the best all around. i makes the famous voyager e wobble non existent slightly past initial start of the motor on your throttle curve. The way you describe the tail, mine works the same way so I assume it's ok. it has a different setup with the intermediate gear that makes it work that way I believe. I'm not sure about lifting 2 pounds I've never weighed my camera, mount, and downlink. Mine is a front mounted gimbal not an underslung like most. As far as upgrade replacement parts, I've told by the wiseman (ralphw) of the voyager e that a quick 15 head assembly will work great on a voyager e also he talked about a stretch mod with longer tail boom and blades. Hope this helps, good deal on the voyager by the way. |
