Just ordered a header tank myself because I have been comming in way, way to low in fuel sometimes, and for only $13 my problem would be solved, more of peice of mind to me!

It also doesn't help that Align lied about the fuel tank capacity. I believe someone posted this before but it is not 440cc, it's only 400cc. I know becuase I filled a new tank with water last night and then emptied it...only 400cc. I believe that makes it only 20cc larger than the Raptor tank.

Every converter I could find out there puts 14.28 oz at 422cc. No biggie to me, but I couldnt find one that differed in the result

1cc = 0.03381402 oz

400cc x 0.03381402 = 13.5256 oz

Mine measured exactly 400ml. 1ml = 1cc so that's 400cc or 10% less than advertised. That was just an empty tank filled to the top. No clunk or stopper.

There's a lot of talk about the fuel magnet, but I thought I would put in a plug for the O.S. bubbleless clunk. I just started using it, and ran my tank bone-dry (accidentally) with it. She barely leaned out at all to the final drop.

It's metal, not foam like the fuel magnet. Looks like a metal ball full of holes. I have no idea how it works, but it really does.

Costs about $16.

I don't think you need a header tank, but I wouldn't mind having a couple extra ounces of fuel. The tank size is the biggest disappointment about the 600N. It flies so sweet I don't want to bring it down.

Good flying,

Some people don't like flying just 8-9min and thats running the tank bone dry. Its not fun to run out of fuel 5ft off the deck going fast backward inverted. I can see the fuel level much better with the HT.

It's not easy to find part for this thing right now.

After toasting my engine this past weekend, I'll be installing a header tank as soon as I find one.

I still had 1/4" of fuel left in the tank when the engine seized up. I was flying FFF, so the heli was tilted far enough forward that it was sucking mostly air. Now I need a piston, liner, and ring.

It sucks to have your engine seize up at about 70 mph forward flight 2 feet off the ground...luckily, the only thing that broke was the front landing skid. Lost the links to the blade grips too.

The fuel magnet would have probably helped, but I'm not sure it would have prevented the engine running lean, so the header tank will be installed.

I use a fuel magnet. The only thing I don't like about using exhaust pressure is having to immediately re-fuel up. On my YS heli this isn't a problem.
