Hey guys,

Been looking around the forums and seems like there's a few out there using this setup. Sounds promising, especially as the stock Align 600L on the trex 600 tends to make most people incredibly unhappy (broken shafts etc).

I've got dewalt A123 packs that I’m ready to disassemble, and a Flight Power 6S 4900 lying around.

Also have the stock align 75 ESC and a Kontronik 40-6-18 esc (40 continuous, 50 amps max) lying around.

Whatch think?

Me thinks the Hurricane prefers lower weights.
I wouldnt like to attempt the big heavy packs and motor, i dont think there is enough rigidity to the frameset to cope.

we can never have too many, can we ?

I tested it, 600L, stock gaui pinion, FP 4900 6S Pack, larger main gear, and all I can say is sheesh!!!!!!!!! Talk about power. Now the CG if "whacked out", but a little trim and it's good enough for me. Puts the old trex 600 pack to good use, and last much longer as well.
Both the pack and motor were cool to touch, and no frame rigidity issues thus far.
