Thanks Clyde,if these damn storms persist,I am gonna do one of two things, move way north and deal with the cold winters or I am heading west, like Northern New Mexico or Northern Arizona/Flagstaff etc!

I guess I am just alittle PI$$$$$ED right now,but I got some folks out west that just say, nothing ever happens out here, nothing catastrophic anyways.I am just venting now I guess, just SUCKS that we have no control at this time of the year with the weather.Damn,I am on my 5th CROWN AND 7 and going for #6 F#*K IT!!Oh I really feel a buzz coming on!

Crown and 7, huh? We need to rile you up to see some good drunk posting. ;p

Don't drink so much that you have a hangover tomorrow. I'm still cleaning out banana trees from my backyard. The wind took good care of them.

Good job on the field triage guys. Spent a good part of my day at work.

On the positive side the latest storm track is looking a bit better for us, but its too early to be sure.

yeah. That's who I order from. Their prices are great and they ship fast. But it would be nice to be able to just go pick up parts after a heli explosion.

Well guys I'm finally back home. We were released from work yesterday. I spent 9 days at work sleeping on a cot and eating those crappy FEMA MRE's. On the positive side, I lost weight due to the 45+ lbs. of gear that I walked around with daily in the heat.

Sorry to hear about the club. If I had the time to spare, I would roll over there and assist you guys. Even though Ike appears to be heading toward TX, we are already on active standby. I have a couple of off days to wash all my clothes and repack.

Here's a pic of most of the stuff I carried. I didn't have the helmet/goggles with me at the time the pic was taken...

(Sorry for the low quality, the pic was taken with a cell phone)

Hope everyone is doing okay now. Let's hope that Ike continues to move west and hit Mexico. Talk to you guys soon.

well I'm still not home. Damage is very bad in my area. havent seen my bed since last friday. this sucks! to make matters worst, my dog got infested with fleas. i had to bring him to a animal hospital in opilika, alabama. Almost at the end of my funds$$$. I lost all my toys. Someone said my shed is missing, and i have some damage to my house. we will see later in the week. looks like a damn repete of katrina for me. I'm looking for realastate in alabama and jobs. they are saying in my area there will be no electricity for 3-4 weeks maybe. My dad says electric poles are down everywhere. and all the electrical people were talking about evacuating from ike. I'm sooo pissed right now!! I'm glad i have my iphone though. at least i still have runryder. I went to a hobby shop in arburn and it is pretty cool. very nice people. i flew the sim at the shop. hey gary, me too i lost weight, i'm down 19lbs. mostly from jogging and the stress. i hope to see yall again and i hope the feild will be okay. my freind says our feild is full of down trees. and our canopy is missing. nico says it looks like several little twisters hit us. sorry for venting......later guys.

Shawn, why Alabama?,that would not be any dif from here bud.If I decide to book A$$,I would be looking at the central west.Ain't SH*T happens out there.Dude sorry to here about your loss though.I now see why some of my family and close buds have moved out that way after that BITCH Katrina hit.I talked to my uncle up in Tulsa Ok this past weekend and he told me he aint never coming back.I am really not blameing him at all.

Man that does sux Shawn.. Know just how you feel. The biggest pain is just not being able to get home and do something about it.
Almost moved after Katrina dropped a tree on my house, smashed my electric service, blew over my fence and took down two giant Bradford pear trees in the front yard.
Gustav was not a problem though but I'm seriously thinking about moving a bit north. Nothing too far since I'm not looking to change jobs. Just want to get out of the mandatory evacuation zone. Still tornadaos happen just about everywhere and plenty of high ground floods too.

Does anyone know where Aggressive Hobbies relocated to? I thought it was going to be on 190 somewhere but just not sure where.

And sorry to hear about anyone still dealing with hurricane related problems.

When I evacuated this time I took all of my clothes, my helicopter, and my important papers. That was it. My gf is still making fun of me and tells everyone what I was trying to save.

Thanks guys
