I got my 600n back in the air yesterday and noticed it has a very high pitched squeal type noise. It's very evident in a hover. Anyone else notice this?

ive got a high pitch noise , at first i thought it may be plastic rubbing on plastic so checked the fan for damage/contact with fan houseing but that was fine, im guessing that its the main gears against the pinion thats causeing the noise and should eventually disapear with age

my dogs name is syndrome

Every 600N I've seen has a distinct high pitch whir, I believe this is caused by the number of fins on the fan.

If the N version main drive bear/pinion works the same as the E version, you may want to check the mesh. I had a similar problem with my E version and it was because the mesh was too loose and the sound stopped when the pinion (motor) was moved tighter to the main gear. Good luck
