Looking for a temp gauge to measure my engines. I was thinking about picking up a duratrax flashpoint gauge for $25 bucks. But saw others for about $40 bucks like the raytek. Just wondering if the duratrax would do its job, I don't wanna buy cheap and buy twice!

Contact Scott (Mike's buddy) at CajunHelicopters in Alexandria. He is the one that came to our field a few weekends ago with all the Trex 600 parts. I bought a real nice infrared temp gun from him for about $40. It comes with a pouch and a lanyard and has a belt clip on the back so that you can just clip it to your belt or pocket.

Use A mip sensor...velcro to the frame....
works like a champ..tune your engine to proper temp...Also you cn climb out..come back hover see real time temp..

MIP sensor is an onboard monitoring device for tuning purposes . I found mine at a LHS
