Align T-REX 600N 700N > 600 N Governor Main Gear Mag Mount

The 600N has a recess in the main gear. I was always led to believe a governor pick up on the main gear was no good. The gear is turning to slow for accurate measurement. Know Align don’t strike me as the boys who would do this without good reason. The sensor install is a bit fiddly on the engine fan so on the main gear would be good. Also with a 1-1 ratio could a revlock 20 operate anyway?

I would bet it wouldnt work.. you can set your percentage from zero to 100% right now I am at 78% to hold 2040 on a gear that is turning 1 time for every 8.5 times the pinion is. I am beleiving around 17k rpm the sensors would just see it as a solid magnet. the pinion or 1:1 ratio from the engine would be to high for the slower resolution of the governor to count..

It has been done that way and works, Dont quote me but I think you need 4 magnets on the maingear using this method.

Check out RussD's gallery..

I think you are probably bang on there. So what’s that bloody hole there for Align? New alien technology is my guess. Made in Taiwan.
