| That combo is the prefered combo around the hobby. You can use Futaba servos with JR Equipment. You just have to trim off a small tab on the servo connector so that it will fit in your JR receiver. Just take a hobby knife and cut the sliver off, its really simply...no major surgery or anything. Once you get the servo you will see this little tab I am speaking of.
Digital Servos use up more power than standard, but are generally quicker to move to the desired servo position. This is ideal for rudders especially, because the Gyro will make thousounds of corrections to adjust for wind, etc. to keep your tail in correct direction.
