bigger may not be better yet?

This is true, it's in the works, no info cvan be given out as yet. The US importor and the England importor are working together and have some flying.

The parts may soon be available, stand by, it's very cool and just needs a little tweeking.

Other scale bodies are also soon to come. Painted canopys, carbon bits and other bling items are also in the works.

Stay tuned.

brand new, half price,
then a few days later i saw a pegasus
on ( e-bay.co.uk) with a SC32 motor in
it.it does look well flown.
does anybody know what crank the pegasus
has? is it a SG or standard or what thread?
thanks pete.

pegasus with bigger engine

The OS .32 will fit with new engine mounts and a few other changes, however the out come at this time is not all that great compared to the .18 it comes with. The reason is the gear ratio. What is needed is a 9 to 1 ratio as it comes stock with a 12 to 1 ratio and this has to be done thru the pinion gear and main gear. To date this is the search and misson we are on.

If set up correctly the little .18 will do many 3-D manuvers and it will do them well.

Stand by for the next trick as it's an engine that will pop right in the heli and we do hope it will be grunting out about 2hp.

It will be a bomb.

Thanks, have fun with your heli.

Team Pegasus,

Low in price big in fun

Hi shooter,YES,THANK YOU,i was thinking the same
about gear ratios and a slower revving 32s.
so i thought what about a .21? high revving
car motor more power and keep the same gear
ratio. bigger, better, faster, more power
machine the 21 engine mounts to fit then its
just the crank, what type of crank is the pegasus
motor?

LET'S KEET IT SAFE...

The small nitro machines are tons of fun to learn & advance your flying skill without pushing the enevolope beyond the package.

We made the first .18 nearly 7-8 years ago flew great just with power for basic flight & invert hold...

WE NEXT tried the .21 a little better...then we retooled for the .25 OS FX...We have been shipping this for around 2 years now. The motor runs great & offers more than enought power for the beginer to basic aerobatic & 3D flying....No HARDCORE just enough to keep you interested.

We did consider a .32 hover the gearing is all Wrong & the clutch & clutch bell assembly as well as the machine it self is not designed for a .32 class POWER ....That's why we make a 32-46 class 16 years ago it is a different structure under no condition with a .32 will stay together ...It is unsafe....

Please consider my words as we know the potential out come....tO HAVE A PADDLE OR A BLADE LET LOOSE WITH IT poentially STICKING OUT OF YOUR FAR HEAD WILL PUT A FAST HALT TO YOUR FLYING DAYS.

Saftey is our first concern at Pegasus USA, as a tech adviser in the motorcycle business for over 35 years we understand the product can not and will not be released to the public until long hours have been spent using the new products which is standerd for most companys.

I would like to thank the people at Quick in PA. for watching out for our customers and letting them know the value of customer awearness.

Pegausa USA has been testing a new .23 size engine, it's new to the helicopter market as it uses a rotary valve, is smaller and lighter, the RPM range is close to the same as our .18 but the power deliver is 15% to 18% better.

The big diference is the(re-kluze)clutch which is also very new in small gas and nitro engines. This system allows the engine to hold the RPM at a more even range when the blades are changing pitch.

More to come soon on this topic.

In closing, to our fine group of customers thank you for your support and please know comments from other brand compitive makes only allows us here at Pegasus USA to better understand customer needs and wants.

Thank you,
Pegasus USA

Pegasus? Shooter queston

I am really interested in buying a Pegasus with the 18 as soon as I unload a few things. I've gone the nitro and electric route and think the small nitro would work for me now. The concern I have is whether this model will be supported if I buy one. Small nitro helis in the past did not last. I just found out that a scale 50 I own is no longer supported due to a lawsuit between the full size heli manufacturer and the model company. I wouldn't want to be disappointed twice.

SkyUp, yes there is three support chanles for the Pegasus,
# 1 in the USA (Pegasus USA) which has a large inventory of parts helicopters, some new bling items, painted canopies, engines, blades of all types and fast service by DHL to your door.

# 2 LHC who is my partner in England

# 3 Smartech the MFG. in China

Pegasus USA will bring into the country a slection of scale bodys and other bling items for the 2008 season. Our testing by design takes five full months before we release a new item. We are not the biggest, and for sure not claiming any stories of the same.
Here is what were are and what we do? We try harder, were smaller, we fly'em, like'em and have fun with'em.

If you into just wanting to have a small helicopter, with a good bunch of customers, an effort to help when needed, then you have the story.

Thank you for your interest,

I will be glad to talk to you anytime.

OK!!!!

OS 18 TZ engine with the machine work completed by Barn Speed Hobby Mr. Joe, set up by Shooter and Doorman test by the Pegaus test crew.
Stock gearing was used and this thing came ALIVE!!!! We are looking at a couple of different options and need to find a header for the rear exhaust, but once that is done, it is an EASY bolt up operation... oh and we are going to add a "BETTER" gyro too... now it will need it!!!!

Stay tuned!!!!!!
