Ive got one sitting here never been flown. I dont see why it wouldn't work just fine I see my throttle and pitch all move accordingly just like my bladecpp. I just decided to buy a blade cpp to learn on (cheaper parts). Never been more than light on the skids though with ECO8 but there have been previous post here stating it works. The damn near impossible part would be getting it to work correctly as there is clearance issues and servo polarity when using y harness the right servo wheels. It is difficult to get the right parts to make it work but posssible. Also if you go to 6ch you'll have to pull apart the head and buy a 120 degree swashplate as the stock swash is 90 now finding a radio with a 90 degree swash program now thats damn near impossible.

Well, I'm not sure if what my dad I did was the 'right' thing to do, but we took out the mech mixing, mounted the servos at the 90's and just went with 90 CCPM. The problem was, we only have the dx6 to work with (which only has 120 ccpm). Just tuned the aileron down a bit. Also moved the tail rotor servo to the front part of the boom. She flies MUCH better now, although a metal swash would have tons less slop in it. Still working out HS and stuff, but we'll get there. Any thoughts?

I suggest futaba 6EX because you have already spent a bundle if you were like me and have a brushless ECO8 setup just sitting on the mantle. It actually is a little better as far as the fasst system they are using but doesn't have all the functions of a DX7. Its somewhere between a dx6 and a dx7 as far as options. You can search these companies and download the manuals on their radios to help you decide. As far as the Eco Im beginning to doubt if Ill fly mine. Might be for sale soon I thought I wanted a bigger heli (more stable) but I'm learning backwards with an unstable heli bladecpp and probably will not go any bigger than the midsize TRex450 helis. Ive learned in this hobby you have to fly whats popular if you want to have a good supply of parts. Although helihobby and hobbylobby still carry all eco parts.
