I used Velcro, and a zipt tie around the sattelite, prolly should of used double stick, but oh well it works.

I just got my dx7 today. Is there any down side to mounting the small receiver on the CF frame?

Don't think it really matters where so long as the antenna orientations are opposite eachother and the satelite is mounted a couple inches away from the bigger reciver.

Yea, I just got a TP 2000 Mha 25R with the Aline 2 in 1 regulator. This is the first time i have used Lipo's for an on board pack. I am a bit nervuos about the new set up.

Boothie, My Dx-7 Rx is on top of the radio tray with the satelite Rx double sided right on the nose away from the carbon.

Dave I went with a 2600Mha 2 cell Fromeco pack for that very reason.
I ran a 2500 Lipo in my Dyna -X for a year but TBH honest I was never really happy about it. The difference in weight between the two is marginial.

There is enough room to fit the Fromeco 2 cell packs in the side of the tray or if preferred underneath as I did. Revmax is on the side. Regulator is an Align 6amp fitted to the mainframes as per JK with Velcro so I can reach the switch easily

I mounted the satellite receiver of the AR7000 on the right side of the frame away from the pipe. I figure I want as few obstacles in the way of the antennas to block the signal.

I think you could get about 3-4.

when I check my voltages(everyflight ) I would stop at 7.5V some say 7.1-7.2 but i never have, in fear of finding that magical drop off curve that we all know and hold dear...............to our pocketbooks!

you can goto 7.0 with a 1amp load on it safely i do it all the time....

3.4v per cell is lowest you can go
