Just outta curiousity..why the header? I fly almost as much inverted with my 600N and haven't had any issues that would require a header. I might add though however, one must be carefull when getting low on fuel and going inverted! Might suck some air then.

Header tank

I wont be using a header tank, I dont do enough heavy constant 3D to use one and will time my flights with plenty of thime to spare. If I get 10 minute runs I will land and refuel in 8....

1Vertal,

I think you ansered your own question.
We do not run the header for fuel, but for an air trap. A manuver at 3 feet inverted sucking an air bubble is not a good reason to rebuild. It's peace of mind for us, we certainly find enough ways to break these things, but bubbles is not one of them !

I wouldn't use a fuel magnet if your running muffler pressure.... it will be deteriorated in a week... of some reason , if you run muffler pressure , the magnet get's eaten up really fast... but if your running crank case pressure like a YS setup , then a fuel magnet is great..... Just my .02 cents

I llike the way you mounted your pin switch. this gives me another option in my helis. NICE. It beats buying a remote glow ignitor just for the metal mount or fabbing up a mount for it.

Peace of mind is always a good thing especially in this hobby. I've never had an issue with my 600N iverted, even a few feet off the deck, however, I only do this maneuver when I have at least a quarter tank left, no less. Then I could see the reasoning behind a header.
