Hello All

I really wanted a V Bar but couldnt afford it so I put some of my schooling to good use

I came up with my own version which is also small enough to fit in a 450 sized heli.

In addition to the custom electronics, I had to design and make a custom control rod guide(similar to what Mikado has) and also found a set of thick grips with thrust bearings that had a ball mount that put the control ball at the middle of the head.

Pro pilot Chris Harmon helped Me tweak the code by giving his input on what he felt while flying which really helped structure it around agressive 3D. We figure that if we can get it working perfect on a 450 sized heli then it will work well on larger machines. Still more mechanical head combinations to try.

Let me know what you guys think.

Thanks

Looks very good. How does it perform in fast forward. Are their some issues with the elevator or is it going straight forward?

Do you have some pics of the electronics?

Some more specs (Gyros, etc)...

Wow, good job!!!

Seems like it flies great! Have you made a complete unit with sencors and all or is it a mixer that uses external gyros?

When can I get one?

Hello

Lets just say the board does a lot of work and no extra gyros are needed

I did this for one reason, to see why the heck these guys charge so much for a system. It can be done inexpensivly and made to fit small helis.

As for pitch up, there is a very tiny bit of it but thats normal...you really do need the pressure sensors but its extreamly managable. Heck my TREX pitched up with the flybar a little so its not an issue. The over all weight of the board and wires(there are 4 of them) is 25g
