Robbe Cuatro - Millennium - Nova - Dyna-X > Robbe Parts Support Sucks!

I guess no one really read the first post on this topic! I am US pilot most of you guys responding to this post saying you are having no problems getting parts are from the UK or europe, so your comments are irrelavent !! Thats my point parts support is not good enough ----FOR ME------ to fly Robbe in the US. But you wouldn't know in the UK you do not have 3,000mi. of ocean between you and your parts. So please read what I said before you respond. And helicopters do not vibrate for no reason. There is ALWAYS a reason some pilots do not investigate deep enough. Rotational mass imbalance would usually be a cause in a heli. Other than the bang of ignition caused by the engine all other parts are just rotating so something is wrong if parts are cracking etc. Or you are running an engine with an imbalance in the crank.

I am pretty sure everyone read your post. We are also US pilots and we are telling you that the best sources for Robbe parts are over there across the pond.

There used to be an outfit in the East Coast - HUI - that supplied all Robbe parts. For economic reasons, he could not sustain his business.

I am in CA and to get parts for my Cuatro, I have to order them from RC Market in Belgium.

Thats the whole point,i never had to balance a thing on my robbe helicopters other than the main blades(which are supposed to already be balanced and are not)why should i piss around with dial indicators and elaborate holding clamps around the engine.lets just bolt the clutch on and get on with it i say

all comments are my opinion only!

I have a futura se and this helicopter is bad a$$. pardon my french. This helicopter is cool. It has been in only one emergeny auto and this helicopter is several years old. It autos like a dream. I can't think of a better helicopter for someone to be placed in a emergency with. I could use some spare parts though. I haven't tried aside from my local hobby shop and that was a bust from the start. There are two robbes within several hundred miles of me. I also have only two of three gassers within a long drive.

I don't think your count and distance are correct. Between my father and I we have more than 20 Robbe.s

That's cool but you are still around 350miles (560km) from Amarillo, TX. There is one other RObbe in Amarillo that I know of. Lubbock is the closest gasser helicopter and at least one other Robbe that I know of.

tlankford01,

There should be a few Futura SS and SE parts on the north side of SW park in Amarillo. You may have to dig around for them since they were planted there a few years ago

I may take you up on that one. I have my original SS, which was my first helicopter ever. I still have the Schluter wood blades that I learned on as well! I am eventually going to have it for a static display. It is pretty complete, but I think there little bits here and there that may be needed.
