hey i was wondering about that:

Why cant we use the spark signal as signal for the gv1 sensor, i mean one spark is one rev so it would do the same as telling to the gv1 that the engine did 1 turn.

I am sure some EE can come up with easy setup and make use of the spark signal for the gv1 input signal,no more sensor and messing up

Tell me this can be done

a very good idea !!

it would be very easy, it could be set up as a timing light, just have a sensor that hooks on the sparkplug wire, or have a sensor that picks up on the flywheel magnets..

yea that what i was thinking about , any ideas how it can be done ?

do i just need to hook the white wire from GV1 sensor to spark wire or something ?
