Just look at the recent posts .... there's at least 2 discussions about seperate incidences right now with feathers flyin everywhere. Why not ask if someone ever hit a chicken?

One day I noticed a BIG flock of seagulls and thought it would be fun to strafe them. I expected the flock to fly away in terror but to my surprise they all flew directly at my T-Rex 450. The result was one dead seagull and $50 damage to the chopper. One of my fly bar paddles was broken off in the bird. gross!! I now stay away from seagulls

Pigeons - Putting the Trexie to work...

My Trex 450SE is a great tool for chasing pigeons off the roof of my house. It would appear that the heli is faster than the birds, they dart left and right to try and get away from it. Way to much fun chasin em... came close, but no rotor-strikes yet. (I also had a hawk dive bomb my hovering trex, only to pull away at the last minute - wish I had that on video - way cool...)

my mate almost hit a bird the other day, i could swear it flew through the rotor disc!! lucky B%£^&"d! was really really funny, and it lost sum feathers. but it hink if he had hit it, he would've decked his band new Trex 600N.

I hit a turkey Vulture with my car, when he realized he wasn't getting enough altitude to clear he let go his lunch in a big way and then got caught by my mirror. Was late for work so I could wash all the Shill off my car!!

I hit a DOG one time with my heli, the main blade broke and the pore Dog… hade a big scratch in his leg.

That was scary… pure dog…

Hit a swiftlet with my Century Swift main rotor. The heli didn't feel a thing.
Can't say the same for the bird though. He's now flying in heaven.
