| On a single axle design the dampenrs are attached to spindles. On a floating axle design like the quick line and the Xcell pro 2K which share the same head, the entire head teeters on a bearing and the dampeners must go in the head block. Floating heads are supposedly better and are definetly more expensive. But with the current innovations many single axle designs are just as good.
