| I too am building a Dauphin and have one on order for it. I don't think ,looking at the photo's that it will work on the bottom start machines. The assembly mounts where the pull starter is mounted and the actual starter motor protrudes away from the engine , which in these bottom start motors would put into the ground, unless you had real high gear on it. Also all the gears and motor assy are out in the open with no protection from dirt, etc. This starter is more suited ,I think ,for top start, fuselage machines. I'll have to rig a servo operated choke also. Batteries involved might add a good amount of weight. It would be nice though to set the model down walk away from it and start it without touching it again.
