Hi there,

I have read a lot of things about the Hirobo Sceadu, and some of them say it now comes with DTDS as standard in the 50 kit.

I just placed an order and it DOES NOT come with DTDS.

Does this just depend on where in world you are ordering the model from?

I live in Sweden and ordered it here in Sweden.

Any ideas?

I just think it is weird if the distributor has to repackage the kits to include the DTDS.

I was hoping it would come with a DTDS system. It costs alone around $150 from Hirobo.

The European kits do not come with the DTDS. All the changes to the 30 and 50 you have read about on this (and various other forums and news groups) apply to the US kits only.

The only Hirobo distributor that is rekiting is Altech USA.

Sorry you got the wrong idea about things. Europeans need to start yelling bloody murder, they are getting robbed by the local distributors.

Volkul is correct. The people who received the first round of Sceadu 50 kits here in the US felt that they would rather have the driven tail and third bearing block instead of the 570mm fiberglass blades.

Jeff Green at Altech listened to our pleas, and voila! Now you get the upgrade you want and a set of blades that you don't . Kind of nice for a company to actually listen to their customers huh? Interesting concept...

For people living outside of the US of A, start yelling at your distributors, they have the option to do this just like Altech did.

Customer service does not exist....

Customer service does not exist here in Sweden at least. Here, the customer is never right. Trust me on that one, I have tons of experience on this issue.

I am not sure where the hobby store I bought the Sceadu from gets his helicopters from. The weird thing is that the part list he sent me is in German!

I guess I am out of luck.

Thanks.

If you want the DTDS...

Check out Cyberheli.........

The 3rd bearing block is about $17 US and the DTDS is around $75 US.........

I haven't seen it cheaper anywhere.

The DTDS is an optional thing, but most would agree, the 3rd bearing is a MUST!
