nice! I always liked the look of the stock corona canpy. Anyway I see your running the Trex blades. I flew my Freestyle with them for the first few flights. Good to start but what you might want to do further down the line is to extend the boom enough to spin 385's. You'll have much better handling and lift of course. Anyway looks great and good luck.

Edit: I just saw your tail assy. What heli is that from? Trex?? Interesting please let me know how it works out I'm running stock but would love to mod it to something else. BTR is a bit expensive.

Here's my BT crutch Corona with Trex tail.
I used the following:
Belt pulley from HDX300
Belt guide from Dragonus
Boom mount from HDX450
Boom and tail from Trex SE

Since the boom is shorter, I had to cut the Corona blades by around 2 inches.

The Corona flies very nicely and very stable.

My motivation in doing this is that I also find the BTR parts quite expensive as Orion stated.

wow thats cool Hochoco...very unique

Don't get me wrong BT parts are worth the money I was just curious about how I could use a different tail assy than the stock and to save a little money of course

corona

mine was like this when i bought it.it has a robbee eolo tail shaft and pich slider assembly.and also the tail rotor hub and grips. i changed the grips to main rotor grips off of a blade cp. they work perfect. i just cut the plastic balls off of them and put my own metal balls on them Ron

parts are still avalable but you have to order direct from lite machines.unless you find a lhs that has a stock of parts.
