RJX is releasing the beast with the soon to be released Extreme!!!
One awsome machine. thought my hurrican was the best.

Words cant describe it so watch a video of it in action and you will see for your self this is not your normal 50 class nitro.

I know very little about this video. The extreme is being tested across sees at the moment. The IS rep has one that is going under testing. BUt man it looks like it dont need that much testing.
I purchased the hurrican and had doubt about it. RJX has been around for some time but never had a US rep. Thanks to rusty I know have a 50 size heli that will out do my 90's. In fact I side both of them becouse I get better fuel milage with the 50 and still fly it like I am flying a 90.

Xtreme

I hear the Xtreme is weighing in at like 7 lb. RTF with 600mm blades, MP2 muffler, all metal head everything down the main shaft metal, OS hyper and servos with 6100 gyro. @ 7lb. that thing is going to be a rocket nitro.

I'll know soon enough, a good buddy just picked up a T-Rex 600N and the prototype Xtreme should be here soon, we'll do a weight comparison when it gets here.

Clyde, did you already order one of those awesome Xtremes?

A buddy of mine just finished building his Align 600N, he said it came in at 7 lbs 0 oz. I'll weigh it on my digital scale next time I'm at the field.

Sounds like the Xtreme will be tipping the scales at the same weight.

But, correct me if I'm wrong, in addition to being extremely light weight, the Hurrican Xtreme also offers a beefy 4mm flybar for better response, and a programmable head which the Align Nitro does not have....

I got a helicopter for my girlfriend,
It was a good trade!

Head

3D head should be sold by itself as it will fit the Hurrican 50 to, both use 10mm main shaft and the same swash, and washout

Hi Rock,

Rusty should be getting his Xtreme soon, RJX is sending one out to each of the Distributors to test out and report back before they go into full production, Steven and I will get some stick time on it soon. You can bet this is one that will be in our stable.

Cost is right in line

the cost is right in line with the other helis offering the same or less in a machine, the Hurrican isn't a plastic model by no means, it is a very well bulit and thought out designed heli. you can get into their cheapest heli for 399.99 and it flys great, I know I have one, right out of the box built real easy and without any troubles, heck I didn't even dial the fan,the brass collets the hurrican uses for the fan mount ensures perfect runout everytime, now I spend all my time burning fuel.

What's the latest on the Xtreme? When is it available?

How much does it weigh - ready to fly - without fuel???

The Trex 600 Nitros are comming in at 7.5 pounds.

Hey Rock,

RjXofUSA pilots, as well as the other distrubitors around the globe will be doing some extensive testing and reporting back to the owner if any changes need to be made and I would expect the Xtreme to be in production later this summer.

Hi guys,

I have been working directly with RJX to produce the best 50 performing heli on the market.

The video was from the first version, we have now changed many things to further improve its performance, including lowering the frame by 40mm to improve the CG location for 3d performance.

I will be testing out the new design in the coming days.

I will have all the updates of the progress on my site

http://www.microheliworkz.com.au/ro...id=17&Itemid=35

cheers
Phil
