One thing I admire about heli pilots is that when they dumb thumb and crash; they admit it. By comparison planes crash all the time but it's never because of pilot error...

Maybe because it's the only way planes crash?

Planes are so easy to fly, I can't remember the last time I crashed it due strictly to "pilot error."

Let's see now. the last 5 airplane crashes were due to

1. trims were so far off, you couldn't fly straight
2. CG was moved back way way too aft.
3. chose the wrong model memory, airlerons reversed.
4. elevator fluttered and destroyed itself in the air
5. wing separated from rest of plane in flight.

My best plank crash yet! And the reason? The wind literally slammed the plane right into the ground!! I kid you not!

Let's face it! Helis are harder to fly, so pilot error comes into play more often.
