| Therein lies the problem, because the extinguishers are rated to extinguish fires of particular classes. Consequently a lipo on fire needs a "D" Class ext. but the surrounding materials that have possibly been ignited will probably not be extinguished by the D Powder.
So do you use a water extinguisher, on the carbon based materials, generally found in a workshop, that have been ignited and risk a reaction with the lipo on fire? |
