| Finished my new heli for this weekend and got some flight time on it already. I've never built a machine so smooth, this thing rocks and flies with the best of them. It uses the following components from current helis.
-Predator Drivetrain -Fury lower channels, motor mount and H-brace design -Carbon Xtreme Programmable head (THE rotorhead of choice for me)
It uses the Kalt type CCPM system on it which works very very well, is easy to set up and looks very clean.
Besides how great it flies, the cost of repair is very low, with a entire G-10 frameset costing less than $10 in material. All in all, I'm extremely happy how it turned out. There are definately improvements that I will make with the next version of frameset, but this will do right now. The Fury main tank is just temporary as I just had one lying around.
Flying wise, it was a real pleasure, stable as a rock, yet felt extremely light in the air and flipped with ease and confidence. I'm really impressed. Can't wait to start racking up some airtime with this machine. Enjoy and thanks for looking
