Ok im thinking of going to the 3D Masters on the saturday ( as a spectator

). So i have some questions for all you that have been before. what exactly goes on on the saturday .

I asume its like practice or something ready for the finals on the sunday , and what sort of time does the flying start are the flight slots like you would get at model show ? .. Ive Only ever been to the Sandown model show and its more Planks that heli's

Well, uhh, not quite. A bit like that but BIGGER!!

The Saturday is the day to see all the hot freestyle flights from all of the 60 competitors. It is a good day to go to if you are limited to your days of visiting. The top five in each of the three classes go on to the final on Sunday.

Miskin,

If you can only go for one day, make it the Saturday and highly recommend if you can staying on into the evening for some 'chilled out' flying and great night flying. Really good atmosphere.

There is also food and a bar available.

Why are women more complicated than helicopters?

I'll definately be there Friday to Sunday with certain refreshments, sandals, a stiff neck, chair and brolly. Just checked the weather report, looks like there may be a tincy wincy bit of rain, low winds and maybe even some sunshine. Heck, I'll enjoy it even if it is raining, good to meet the crowd and see helis flying - been a looong time

just got home

after returning from the masters(just)i must say that its gotta be the best competition in the world
loved every minute again..missed not being involved this year.
thought our lads had got it stuart and duncan....they both crashed.stuart did a high speed ripper(piro)and the head just came apart in flight(real shame) and duncan clipped the tail blades dam

i dont think RR went, something to do with someone wanting to make a DVD and that if RR took videos there would be no point in making a DVD and they got all upset, so i don't think Mark went..
