| Someone (maybe Askman) was using 5 cells on his BT-CP, but don't know his motor or head speed, but I think he runs a very high speed. People say one A123s is equivalent to about 2-1/2 NiMH cells. A123 are about 2.5 ounces/cell (70g). Horizon Hobby (www.horizonhobby.com) sells single cells at $19 each. You can also buy the A123 System's packs from them. Tanic (www.tanicpacks.com) also makes A123 packs -- both are expensive. I was considering A123s for my BT-CP and Mini Titan, but decided on regular flat lipos. A123s seem too big for a mini, but can work with BT-CP depending on your crutch. Maybe I'll experiment when the A123 ready-made packs come down in price. I don't really want to tear apart a DeWalt pack and make my own. However, I like the safety and fast charge of A123s.
