| I always have a good hold on the grip when starting. I was taught that way, And always start the heli with the fuel inlet facing you. I had a hot start once and went for the exhaust tip. The rubber blew off the muffler, I was left holding the tip in my hand, and still had a good hold of the grip with the other. I have since put a short zip tie on the fuel line to make it easier to grab and pull off. I also fastened my exhaust extension better.
It's a good day for a guinness!!! |
