What's with all these covers? I saw one posted by Heli_Gal and now this one. I don't see the point of a heli cover. I fly mine on a weekly basis and wipe it off after every time I fly it. What would the cover accomplish?

Now, the paddle mittens..... I see the point there (JK)

Let's see what Mark's take on plugging products is.......

a lame shame.

i would never use a cover but my cousin likes his.that color of material sure is ugly though.you would probably sell more if it was a little more appealing to ones eye.it makes a chopper look as though it had a serious crash and is heading to the local morgue in a body bag.

If I had a $2000 heli.......

I would want to keep it shaded from the sun at the flight line, and I sure would want to keep dirt and dust off the engine and gears while its sitting around. It only makes sense.

I've got to agree with COPTER COVER on this one. I don't know about you guys, but I seem to do more damage to the heli just getting it to the field than I do when I'm flying it. I think a little extra padding between the heli and the car trunk would be nice.

Ever stop too quick due to the other guy in traffic only to hear the terrible sound of your helo rolling over in the back. Broken fins, tail blades or a dinged carbon main and you have paid for the extra padding. I don't own one yet but could have used one or blade covers last week as a new set of MS mains now are slightly dinged..........

I'm not sure if you've heard about these bad boys!
They're $9.50 for two and do a perfect job keeping the heli the right side up in the trunk or truckbed......

Well i must say that even though it isnt that spectacular looking i would of liked to have one for wednesday!! My heli has to ride in the back of the truck from IL to Tampa florida and i would have like to have one to keep the dirt and crap off it that gets kicked up going down the road. But its alittle too late now to get one!! oh well. day late and a dollar short like always!!

plasic bag

if one just wants to keep dust off of the heli while going down some dusty roads all i ever done was use a big black 33 gal garbage bag.and the money i saved from buying a chopper cover like the above was well spent on extra fuel.but then again my cuz still would not take double the price he paid for his

A black plastic bag? I would have never thought of that. That sure would look good on the flight line.

Nice idea.. do the covers have foam lining inside... like wingbags??

Heliman41.. upgrade covers.. that's good

How about High Performance Composite helicopter transport stabilization and protective cases??? The more words you have, it just sounds that much more necessary...

Helicopter Transports

I was at a local sports shop the other day and saw these fabulous looking rectangular ABS plastic cases made for transporting rifles. They have those dark grey foam pads inside that you can easily cut to suit your taste. The larger ones looked big enough to put an electric keyboard or 60 size helicopter in them. Put your heli in one of those and I think even the airlines would have a hard time damaging them unless they drop it out the baggage door of the aircraft unto the tarmac, which you know is about a 20' drop. They wouldn't do that now would they?
