90mm should work fine

95mm and you will risk hitting the tail blades on the ground.
I have done it many times with my radix 95mm tail blades. I need to make an extention to better protect my tail blades tail blades

Jim,

I agree with Tony...anything longer than 90 and you will have lots of problems with dragging the blades on the ground. The Knights have a much more effective tail rotor than that other brand of helis you have been flying, so even the 90 mm tail blades will give you better performance on the tail than you've been accustomed to.

I use 95 but i have 4 washers on top of the rear skid and gave me plenty clearance.

85's will work, but 92's will work better. I am running 95 mm V-Tail blades and I have touched the ground with them. I think that the vertical fin should be at least 10 mm longer to provide a bit more ground clearance when running 95 mm tail blades.

Jim,

85's on the Knight will give you as much response as 95's on the Raven. You will still have to be very careful with the 92's...they will touch the dirt if you let them.

Wasp,

What type of flying do you do? If you are into sport flying, then 85's will be perfect. If you are into more aggressive 3D, than you need as much tail authority as you can get and 92's will be better. You should try out both and see which size better suits your flying style.

although I have been told by a few I am a 3D pilot I'm not really an aggressive and tight 3D pilot, I don't work the tail as much as someone like "beavis1" does, but I do like power , and I could see in the review photos that the Sport has more pitch on it's tail than my Raven does..

thanks !!
