Compass Knight 50 > Knight 3D phase ring wear

Has anyone noticed any wear on the phase block ( where the guide pins ride up and down with collective ). I just noticed tonight after flying I have some play between the pins and the phase block. Not sure if its more than it had when new, it doesn't seem to effect flight but there is some black alum. residue on the pins.
Thanks

Do you have one of the thin ones that came with the early models? Those weren't anodized where the pins ride and are a little loose to begin with. Most of the Knight radius blocks are hard anodized where the pins ride and don't wear there, or produce the black aluminum oxide.

I think I have one of the early ones. It is pretty thin, Should I replace this part or just keep an eye on it. This machine gets alot of stick time.

Shouldn't be a problem as is, but if you replace it, you will most likelely get one of the thicker ones that has a 1.5 mm lip on both sides. This will decrease the total collective available unless you remove them.
