I am a new heli flyer who lives in Costa Mesa. I've been flying since Christmas, and am currently flying a Blade CP and a pretty well modified Honeybee FP. I know these are little helis in the grand scheme of things, but I'm progressing, I'm doing circuits and FFF, and having a lot of fun. Now, is this something a newer heli pilot can take part in, or do we have to have a "larger" bird to fly with you guys?

Where do you all meet? Typically I fly in the Santa Ana Red Cross parking lot during the week, and the soaring field in Costa Mesa on weekends, when the grumpy old soaring guys let me.

Love to be able to get more info. I see there was a large amount of drama, and the ocheliclub.com page seems to be closed, but hopefully things are looking up again.

MAN i stoped by OCHC ~OC~ today for a short time and there was some AMAZING flying going on. Its great to see everyone haveing a great time HUCKEN in such great weather... All that flyen and not one crash I came close but got her back. I had to leave early and did not bring my camera... Next week we should have some good pics... Thanks again guys for a great time....

OCHC ~OC~ is currently flying at 2 locations. We thought it would help the members who drive a long way to fly with OCHC. I myself live in the middle of both locations. So its about 100 miles for me...

Sucks to hear about your Trex. I just got mine fixed from the crash at SEFF. See my homepage gallery for more picss. But anyway is everyone enjoying the batteries?

Check out the Divet on the third one.
I broke off both tail rotor blades at the root, I bent the boom and the fly bar 90 deg from their original posistion,I bent the tail rotor shaft and I accomplished throwing the tail casing off of the boom. It was a good one
