| You can use a 'Y' lead to connect you onboard checker, or alternatively open up the case of the Rx. Older types had spare 'channels' only without the pins so you could solder onto the board - if your Rx is one of the newer ones, then just 'pigyback' the connector to one of the existing channels.
One word of caution though, I was using one of my onboard checkers in a new model and couldn't work out why I seemed to always have maximum power. After a couple of weeks (and fortunately before I found out the hard way!!) I noticed that it was a FOUR cell checker and I had FIVE cells in my flight pack - Duh.
