Those don't look like piroflips.

I must admit they dont look like it to me either.

One full piro to inverted, and another back to upright.

They are piro flips, half piro flips, slow piro flips. Regardless they are piro flips. Doesn't have to be 720 degrees/sec and 3 feet off the deck.

This was a good description. No one said they have to be on the deck.

I feel that interpretation is in order here, half piro to half a flip makes as much sense as one piro to half a flip, what does it matter?? He's pirouetting and flipping

Also looks cool if you alternate the piro-rotation on the second flip.

They are piro flips,
Dont see how, that would be like saying, i can do a rolling circuit, but doing only one roll during 'the' circuit.

Quote
half piro flips,
Nearly half, maybe.

Quote
slow piro flips.
There is no true definition, a piro flip is one full revoloution per flip, doing it slowly still requires the same outcome.

Would be nice to see how everyone else interpretes it.

One full revolution per flip is what you see in that video. And a rolling circuit can be one, two, three, four or more rolls per circuit.

Agreed. Love the rolling stuff, just keep rolling and fly wherever you want with the odd half piro to swap ends. I think one can get way too tangled up in definitions

so if i do a circuit and only roll once, then that's classed as a rolling circuit.

FFS, wheres the 3dm entry forms again.

Anyhow we already agreed on 'wannabe' flips, therefore definition is no longer required.

Go try it... one complete roll in one circuit, one fluid manouver.

You'll be picking up bits of Raptor all over Cambridgeshire....again!

The implication of a rolling circuit is that the rolling is continuous. A single roll on each circuit is doable (just tried it on the sim) but it's not very exciting. Lets say you do 8 or so rolls in a rolling circuit and for each roll you are also blending in a full piro or whatever, is this still a rolling circuit. OR, lets say you are doing rolling 8s, then you blend in piros but then change the piro point to a hesitation. At what point does this become the Haymaker ?
