Had a flat tire on my car that I ended up spending most of Sunday morning getting fixed. Not many places open on Sunday that work on tires, and the few that are, are swamped. By the time I was done, it was too late to go all the way to Tujunga.

So I looked around here in Santa Ana and discovered a large grassy field next to a corporate park and flew there in the afternoon. Similar to Suzuki being next to a corporate headquarters. Probably similar as well that they would kick me out if they knew I was there.

on the topic of fields, has anyone considered the stadium at fullerton HS? i know they dont hold events there on weekends all too often, and most of the school stuff is held at the other fields with the exception of football, which is only during that season, and on fridays

one of those would be ladera vista, which would be a great field if nobody was there, but im pretty sure that its used a lot for sports on weekends. not so sure about commonwealth across the street. iirc theres a good bit of trees

I intend to. And it sure is a nice, big, empty, grassy field too!

Nothing wrong with the tires. It's the dumb sh*ts that throw 3-inch-long bent nails in the middle of the street! It was so long I heard it going around hitting the inside of the fender. It drove itself all the way in by the time I got over to the side of the road.

talk about dumb****s, one time one of the guys that works in the same complex as my dad got pissed at him and drove a line of 6x 8 pennies into his Z4 tire. luckily they were easily patched

im confused....but on a cooler note, my heli is working again! as far as i can tell, that blade flutter was actually in the tail rotor, which had a bent screw

Your talking about a 450 correct ? I had some tracking issues with my old one a while back, and traced it back to a loose ball link that was hardly noticeable. It would go in and out of track after flying hard.
