| TZ & DivotThis is on a Stock T-Rex 600, L motor, 10 / 170 gearing, with Curtis RAdix 600mm blades in a shallow dive. I have to say I was pretty impressed that it goes that fast.
True, I did set a World Speed Record back in 2005 for electric helis, but a Russian Pilot has broken my record by about 2 mph.
I plan on reclaiming it this year, probably after IRCHA.
The only way to find my name at the FAI site is to go into the history for FAIF5C, but I am hoping to change all that.
The new equipment we all have nowadays works so much better, it should be easy to keep increasing the record performances.
They (the FAI) does got rulz, and that is a large part of record breaking, making sure you follow all of them.
Heck, I think it was Steve Velario that was over 100 mph back in 2000?
It'l get better!!!
