I have the knight 50 sport and on the Mixing arms there are 2 holes for the linkage balls, mine has the linkage ball on the out side hole , what kind of difference will putting the linkage ball on the inside hole, will have to re set the pitch as well if i move the ball to the out side hole.

It will give you a wider pitch range. Shouldnt have to change much on the settings.

You will also get slightly faster cyclic response with the balls in the inside holes.
