Heres a link to photos of my idea of a Field Box: It was built out of 1/2 inch Baltic Birch plywood. I made it to carry the stuff I wanted to drag to the field and instead of drawers I used Rubbermaid Food storage containers.
I'll give this one a try, then make any changes on my next one. This one is only a begining point.

Hey check out my gallery and look at the field box that I made out of carbon fiber. Just like yours...it holds everything.

Its not too heavy, the differance between the kits that you buy (1/4") and this 1/2" box might only be an additional 4 pounds at the most and for the benifit of the sturdier and stronger box, its a small price to pay. Speaking of price, everything including paint was under $20.00.

Do you have any drawings / schematics of your field caddy? I wouldn't mind building one myself if you wouldn't mind providing measurement drawings.

BTW... I lilke your work bench. Really well organized.

Do you think your design would work made out of wood?

Thanks,

Carl
