| i made one out of wood for my 450, worked great for the few flights i had it on for 
on another note, what file type is the file you've got casey? i might be able to persuade one of the manufacturing professors into letting me use one of the CNC mills if i have a file in hand. should only cost for the material.
assuming that i can actually get access to the needed labs and have people to help me, i can make practically anything with enough work. if you really wanted it, i could design a aluminum/carbon hybrid, and make the parts to whatever size/thickness you needed. we can even make the carbon in the composites lab, and i think they have some of the carbon Kevlar mix that lets you have red yellow or blue weave, for a weight and strength penalty (dont want that now do we?)
so i'll go check on the status of me being able to use the machine shop for personal stuff tomorrow and let you know if i can help you out.

, the bottom plate is not that hard to cut. i guess a flat plate couple of holes out of it , then we are done right? if circles hole hard to cut then do the square or triangle hole then, just saw them off
