| correct gyro directionMake sure your gyro is set up correctly. It might be reversed from what you describe. Here's what I do:
Helicopter tail in, tail blades at 12 and 6 o'clock,
Fold the top tail blade so its pointing forward,
Left rudder stick will make the top blade point left, right stick will point it right,
Lightly grasp the tail rotor hub so you can feel the deflection of the top blade,
Quickly jerk the tail to the left, the blade should deflect left,
Jerk it to the right, it should deflect right.
If it doesn't follow this pattern, reverse the gyro and/or rudder until you get the correct combo.
