First stable flight...fully predictable and controllable. Just need to build the fuselage (that project might take awhile). TH-2 works great - thanks Joe (Tech Model Products) for dealing with me the last few months.

Hi mchughk

Nice to see another tandem in the air.

My Mk1 Chinook mechanics used the TH-2, it's a good unit but now I'm trying a different mixer.

This is my latest version Mk2, it's 2Kg lighter than the first one and uses a lot of carbon fibre instead of aluminium.

Just got it in the air about 3 weeks ago, I'm using the Vario fuse which is nearly finished but I won't be fitting it untill I'm certain all is OK with the mechanics.

Believe it or not I used your build pages for a little inspiration during the build of mine. You did some nice work, no doubt. I've looked at both fuses offered from Hirobo and Vario...I'm not decided yet which is the best way to go. Either buy one already made and do a little Fab work or scratch build one. I'll bet the latter would be more exspensive and very troublesome, at least for me not having done it before. If you have some time, would you mind measuring the fuse from center point-mast to mast...would help me figure how much work I would have to do to make that fuse fit. Thanks for the post.

Here are the basic dimensions for the Vario fuse, if you can't see them properley let me know and I'll email you a better dwg.

Thanks Rich. Mine measures 34 inches mast to mast. Will have to fab from scratch....can't wait for that. mmmmmm. Thanks again, good luck with the carbon fiber mechs - look great.
