Is the 9253 servo powerful enough for a 60 size tail rotor. It only has around 48 in. oz of torque.

Thanks!

Yep

Works great in my Freya, just make sure all your linkages are smooth and free from binding.

Many others use the 401 and 9253 with no problem in their 60's.

I believe that the 9253 only has about 27 oz. in. of torque, but that is still enough for a 60 tail rotor system. The main rotor system is huge compared to te tail system, and has 40 to 50 times the mass, yet a 69 oz. in. servo is plenty to move it fairly quick, so 27 is more than enought to move a 10 tail rotor, assuming you have the pushrod and links moving freely.
