They sent out the battery today. I am going to an indoor fly this weekend if the battery gets here in time I will have some results on Sunday...

They emailed me and told me to completly discharge the battery a COUPLE of times, so I'm taking her LOW!!! I am going to enjoy this test.

A normal lipo will be ruined if you take it to zero.

However, if this companies claims are true about their batteries, nothing should happen to one of these batteries if you take it to zero.

How are you going to recharge it after such a deep discharge- I should say, I think my Triton won't charge a lipo that has been over-discharged.

While monitoring it, you can charge it as a NiMh or NiCad until the voltage rises enough to be treated like a LiPo. Not the most elegant method, but it will work.

I am all for trying new products and making them a big label if there product truley does what it says. I just looked at there web site. My only question is I don't have a charger that uses the balancing pins to charge the battery and that is how they reccomend charging. So now I am going to have to buy a new charger or will their balancing pins fit my thundrer power balancer? They leave that info out of there info and if that is the case why don't they sell a charger that fits there batteries. That kinda would make me wonder? Any thoughts or anwsers?

Frustration is the point where expectation does not exceed reality!!
