Hello guys,

Here's my good old Eco-8 in flight. Checking out the handling with a new gear ratio and a set of FG blades (previously using MS Blades). The machine flies well, but I still need to get rid of noticeable slop in the cyclic inputs and work on stronger tail hold for backwards flight. Anyways, hope you enjoy:

Nice one Chachin. What battery are you flying with now? Looked like you had a metal head - shouldnt be ant slop there. I am using the 401/9254 on my tail with stock raptor plastic tail blades and it is very solid. What are you using?

Had a servo arm break on mine during ticktocks so I am rebuilding with eco16 boom/belt and a pair of MAH 500mm blades.

Thanks Windyone. I am flying with a 4S3P 6000mAh Pro-Lite pack. It gives about 14min of aerobatic flight.

Yes I am using a metal head with no slop. The slop is coming from the lever arms that connect to the flybar. I was still using the plastic ones which have incredible slop! Yesterday I receveived and installed the aluminum arms (along with other goodies) which have reduced the slop dramatically

. It should make a big difference in flight.

I'm using 401/9254 with plastic tail blades. It may be that the cyclic slop was affecting the tail handling as well. So need to test fly this weekend. I have installed an aluminum tail lever to see if it helps. I also have a set of Ikarus CF tail blades to try out.

Interested to hear on your Eco-16 setup there since that's the other heli I need to work on. Are those 500mm blades 9mm at the root?

MAH500mm blades were 12mm root but are now 9mm root after a little filing down !.
